Each layer is derived from the one below it, so everything above raw facts can be dropped and rebuilt.
- Raw facts
- Logs, transactions, and receipts as ingested. Append-only. A reorg marks the losing branch orphaned rather than deleting it.
- Normalized events
- One per protocol transition, with provenance and before/after state.
- Projections
- The tables the API reads, rebuilt deterministically from facts and events.
- Completeness
- Responses name the block they were read at. Anything the index can't establish is flagged in
meta.completenessorunsupported_reason.
